Mas San Antonio

Sea World
Despite the rash from Hades, I was not going to let it keep the boys from having a vacation. We went to Sea World after I returned from the hospital. The boys LOVED the floor to ceiling aquariums and the water boat show. Sadly to say, nature had it's wrath and it dumped the rain the Hill Country had been missing on us from about 2 o'clock on. Let's all say it..."When it rains..." Here are the pictures we were able to get from the adventure.
Stupid internet. I'll add pictures later!

More from San Antonio

The San Antonio Zoo

The boys are obsessed with Aquariums. They love everything about them. Here they are trying to jump in with the fishes at the San Antonio Zoo.

Poor Deacon. He just can't seem to stay awake when he's in a moving object. It doesn't matter if it's a car or stroller. Give him enough time and he's out. To his defense, he just came off a six and a half hour drive the day before and had a horrible night's sleep in the playpen Marriott calls a baby crib (boo!). Wouldn't you need a nap?

Here is Rhett and Daddy taking a picture by the lions' statue. No matter how hard you try, you just can't give a picture without some stranger in the background. Where's Deacon, you ask? Look at the picture above and you'll see. It doesn't get much sweeter than this!

Down in San Anton'

Saturday after 4th of July, we headed to San Antonio for a fun vacation with Grandma and Grandpa Scott. We met up with them in Abilene and then drove the rest of the way together. The boys travelled great! They slept and watched their "Praise Baby" DVDs the entire way.

"Praise Baby" saved the day! I recommend these DVDs to any parent who needs a babysitter for long road trips.

Getting to ready for a swim in the hotel pool. They LOVE to swim.
Here are my sweet boys after a long day on the road and swimming. Don't they look like angels. You might even believe they like each other.

Happy Birthday America!

For America's Brithday, we went to the "4th on Broadway" Parade downtown, where the boys loved all the music and spectacle. When then loaded the mini (complements of the in-laws) and headed to spend the night in Midland. We were celebrating Poppi's 53rd birthday with friends and family and Kaley and Chad's house. Here are some pictures to highlight the events:

The Boys at the parade. Can't just see the excitement in their face?!? What was their favorite part of the parade, you ask? The marching band. HA!

Here is the gang (Crue, Rhett, Jasmin and Deacon) in the pool at Kaley and Chad's house. Thank you Aunt Sissy and Uncle Chad for letting us spend the night. We had a lot of fun!

It seem like everytime we get the kiddos together, we have to take a picture. Here they all are in the July 4th apparel. Don't they look like a great Gap add? I mean who would want to look like these fine kiddos. I especially like the Asian looking-ones. Total GQ, I know.

In the Jungle

Ok, so we're not in the jungle; we're in Lubbock, TX. And there weren't any lions. So, I picked a bad title for a blog, but we did go see some out-of-West-Texas creatures at the Science Spectrum. Yes my friends, it's the annual Critter Fest! I had my camera, but when you're juggling two boys, plus a ridiculously large crowd, and a camera, pictures run a distance last thing on your mind. Here is a picture of the boys with their Poppi watching the reptile presentation.
