My Sweet Deacon, Friend

So, last couple days, Deacon has really shown his heart for people. He loves everyone! He wants everyone to be his friend and in return wants to BE everyone's friend. Here are a couple of examples:

1. Yesterday we were watching a video of a baby in NICU online. Deacon proceeded to point at the screen and said, "baby, baby, hurt baby, hurt." He then started to pretend to cry and said, "oh baby. oh gosh! baby!" I love it! Could we have a future nurse or doctor?
2. Today we were at the park. A kid, about the boys' age, walk up to play. Deacon ran over to him and said, "Play! Play, mommy, play!" Pointing to the scared little boy. Maybe we have a future teacher?

Isn't it great to see the Lord's finger on your children, even when they are so young. I love watching our guys learn more words and about the world around them. I pray they both grow to be compassionate, LOVING, people who are a friend to all. These Deacon moments, warm my heart and make we fall in love with him all over again.
