Penguins, Bears, and Flowers...Oh my!

Halloween this year was a little different than what most people remember. Sure, we dressed the boys up in silly costumes and took them door to door to get some treats, but that's where the similarities end.

Due to the Trinity Girls Volleyball team making it to Regionals, on October 31st, we were in the great city of Brenham/Tomball. That right, crazy Mommy of twin 1 year olds decided to pack them up and follow the bus on the 10 hour trip. TEN HOURS! Lucky for me, Ryan was able to ride with us. And by the grace of God, we have two boys that are EXCELLENT travelers. They slept, watched their movies, and played the entire time. I honestly could kiss the person who invented portable DVD players.

The boys friend, Emerson Neal (Volleyball coach's daughter and 3 months older than the boys), road the bus. We were so glad she was along for the big trip. It was so much fun!

Back to Halloween...we dressed the kids up. Rhett was a Penguin, Deacon a Bear (not a dog), and Emerson was a beautiful Flower. Then we took the kids around the hotel and let them "trick or treat" at the girls room. The Highleys and the Neals bought snacks for the volleyball girls to hand out, but to our surprise, some them (and their parents) brought special treats for the kids. Thank you ladies and parents for loving on our kiddos.

Here are some pictures from our night of Trick or Treating - Hotel Style.

Rhett strutting his stuff in his penguin costume.

Deacon's checking out the ladies. What a silly little bear!

All three kiddos comparing their loot. Aren't they adorable!!!

Exhibit A, B, C, D...and Z that our boys are spoiled.
