It's Christmas Time

The Highley household has been busy these days with tons of Christmas-time events. Ryan and I took the boys to Santa Land Mackenzie Park. Every year different businesses in town put together this small city of lights for families to come and enjoy for FREE! The line for Santa was literally a quarter of a mile long. We opted to not wait in line this year. It's not like the boys know the difference. We did have fun, though, looking at all the lights and fun characters. Who was their favorite? The elves! Go figure.

Last night (Tuesday), the twins had their school's Christmas Program. Oh my goodness! This was pretty incredible. They even had a "dress rehearsal" yesterday morning. Our little guys performed "Go Tell It on the Mountain," "I Am a Promise," and "Feliz Navidad." They had paper tamberines with bells attached for noise makers. It's hard to believe we are at the point in our lives for school programs and Christmas Parties. They're getting so old. Rhett stole the show. He was waving at the audience and dancing to the music. Deacon, was completely content in sitting on stage, watching the world go on around him. My how they are different.
Which one do you think is having more fun?

Hi Deminy! I meant to comment back to you forever ago and am just now remembering. I do remember you calling and that is SO funny that your boys go to PDO at Trinity too. Will is also in the Walker 1 class...what days do they go? Will goes on Tuesday and Thursday. Your boys are so adorable, by the way!
